Mohammed Shami was last seen playing an ODI match for India in the Champions Trophy 2025. But he was not given a chance in the ODI series against Australia. In the press conference of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, when Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar was asked about Mohammed Shami’s injury, he ended the conversation by saying No Update about Shami.
Recently, while talking to the media, Mohammed Shami said that ‘If I was not fit, I would not have been playing Ranji. If I can play in 4-day Ranji, then I can play in 50-over matches also. Shami bowled 14.5 overs in the first innings against Uttarakhand and took three wickets. In the second innings, he bowled 24.4 overs and took four wickets.
