Vishwa Hindu Parishad has demanded to change the name of Delhi. It has been asked to change the name of Delhi to Indraprastha. Vishwa Hindu Parishad has written a letter to Delhi Government Minister Kapil Mishra demanding that the name of Delhi be changed.
It has been said in the letter from VHP that, to connect the national capital with its ancient history and culture, the name of Delhi should be changed to Indraprastha. Apart from this, VHP has made other demands in the letter. In the written letter, there is also a demand to change the name of Indira Gandhi Airport to Indraprastha Airport.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Delhi state secretary Surendra Kumar Gupta has written a letter to Delhi government minister Kapil Mishra. In this letter, a demand has been made to change the name of the national capital Delhi. It has been said in the letter that the name of Delhi should be changed to connect the capital with the ancient history and culture of India. Delhi should be named Indraprastha.

Praveen Khandelwal, MP from Chandni Chowk, had said a few days ago that, in the coming times, we will not listen to the Delhi government but to the Indraprastha government, this is our aim.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad put forward many demands
In the letter written to Minister Kapil Mishra, a demand has also been made to change the name of Indira Gandhi International Airport. The name of the airport should be changed to Indraprastha Airport. Whereas Delhi Railway Station should be changed to Indraprastha Railway Station and Shahjahanabad Redevelopment Corporation should be changed to Indraprastha Redevelopment Corporation.
Regarding changing the name, it was said in the letter that the name of Delhi should now be changed. Because the capital connects to the old history and culture.
