Veteran Bollywood comedian and actor Asrani is no more in this world. The actor died today at 3 pm after a long illness. Asrani breathed his last at the age of 84 at Arogya Nidhi Hospital in Mumbai. The actor’s last rites were also performed within a few hours of his death. Let us know how much wealth Asrani left behind and how educated he was.
Asrani was born in a Sindhi Hindu family in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The late actor had completed his matriculation from St. Xavier’s School. After this he took graduation degree from Rajasthan College, Jaipur. Asrani belonged to a middle class family. Therefore, to meet the expenses of his studies, he joined All India Radio, Jaipur where he continued working as a voice artist.

Asrani’s film career
Asrani made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Hari Kanch Ki Chudiyan’ released in 1967. In his 58 year long film career, the actor worked in more than 350 films. His character in Sholay was highly appreciated. Apart from this, he created his own identity with blockbuster films like ‘Abhiman’, ‘Chupke-Chupke’, ‘Chhoti Si Baat’ and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’.
Asrani was to be seen in Akshay Kumar’s film
Let us tell you that Asrani was going to be seen in Priyadarshan’s film ‘Haivaan’ with Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. He had revealed this in an interview given to BBC in August this year. Asrani had said- ‘Now the shooting is starting in September. The name of the film is Haiwaan. Priyadarshan is the director. Now it will be known only after the release of ‘Haivaan’ whether Asrani had already shot his schedule for the film, or he passed away before that.
