Sanae Takaichi: In India, October 20 was a happy day of Diwali, while in Japan, October 21 proved to be a historic day. According to Reuters report, Takaichi got 237 votes in the lower house of Japan’s Parliament, which is considered very high in the 465-seat house. She learned politics from former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and married the same person twice. However, even after marrying twice she could not become a mother. Takaichi’s critics also call him Daily Trump. He got this title because of his staunch image. She married fellow MP Taku Yamamoto in 2004, which lasted until 2017. Both of them got divorced in July 2017. However, both of them got married for the second time in December 2021, but neither of them have any children. In such a situation, she has adopted Yamamoto’s three children from his first marriage, due to which Takaichi is today the grandmother of four grandchildren.
Why couldn’t she become a mother?
Sanae Takaichi has strong views, vocally opposing both gay marriage and the right of married couples to have different surnames. Now let’s talk about why she could not become a mother. Although there is not much information about this available in the public domain, but if you look at Japanese outlets, you will find that Sanae Takaichi had written in her official column (in 2007) in Japanese that she had suffered from a gynecological disease, due to which she had to undergo surgery. After this, pregnancy and delivery became difficult for her, due to which she gave up her dream of becoming a mother.
