Bollywood star Govinda accidentally shot himself in the leg in October last year. After this, he was rushed to the hospital where he also underwent knee surgery. Now after a year, Govinda’s daughter Tina Ahuja has spoken openly about this accident. Tina has told that after being shot, Govinda’s clothes were soaked in blood.
In a recent interview given to Filmigyan, Tina Ahuja said about the accident involving Govinda’s shot – ‘Those were my tears of victory at that time. Because I really prayed so much to God at that time. And then I felt very good that my father was fine, happy and he had come out of it. Because earlier he was in ICCU and I was sleeping and then he was shifted to ICU.

Tina Ahuja further said about Govinda – ‘My father is very clever. She is very difficult and desi. So he did not want to take drip, he did not want to take antibiotics, he is very confused about all these things. So when a person was fighting like what to do now, how to do now and I was literally sleeping in the ICU and I wanted him to come back. Just at that time, because when that gun shot happened, I was the one who took him to the hospital and I saw him going. He was going to Calcutta for an event and it was a morning flight.

Tina further says- ‘As it happens in films, she was wearing a white pant, white jeans and a white T-shirt and jacket. Those completely white jeans had turned completely red. I told him that Papa, thank you for all your films, Woh Jo Bole Hain Na came in flashback, you had the courage to fight and you know and I know how I took him there. So there were tears of joy, thank God he came back. That was it. And I am very emotional, I am a bit desi.
