Before the Bihar Assembly elections (2025), the war of words has intensified in the politics of the state. Now Bhojpuri actor-singer and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) candidate from Chapra seat, Khesari Lal Yadav has hit back at the statement of Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary.
Actually, Samrat Chaudhary had taunted Khesari Lal Yadav by calling him a ‘dancer’. Responding to this, Khesari Lal Yadav has said, “First, Samrat Choudhary should look into his own house and tell why he has given tickets to four ‘Nachaniyas’ in his party?”
Khesari Lal called Samrat Chaudhary elder brother
Khesari Lal Yadav further said while talking to IANS, “Samrat bhaiya is like my elder brother, I need his blessings. He speaks the same way as he comes from home and environment, but my upbringing and values are not such that I can say anything wrong about him.”
‘Will work for the development of Bihar till my death’
Describing the development of Bihar as his priority, Khesari Lal Yadav said that no real development has taken place in any area of the state so far, hence everything will have to be done from the beginning. He said, “We will work for the development of Bihar till my death. I will change the face of my area Chhapra.”
When asked what changes he would like to bring after winning, Khesari said, “There is still a lot to be done. We have to start from the beginning in Bihar. I will keep fighting for this till my last breath.” Clarifying the allegations of obscenity in Bhojpuri songs, he said, “It is just entertainment. My songs have nothing to do with the development of Chapra. People want entertainment and that is what I do.”
Now the entry of Bhojpuri star Khesari Lal Yadav in the politics of Bihar has made the election contest more interesting. It is clear from his statements that this time he has entered politics with full seriousness.
