Crores of farmers of the country have been getting financial help through the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana for years. This scheme was started by the government in 2019 and its objective is to provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers every year. Under the scheme, an installment of Rs 6,000 is sent every year to the bank account of the farmers.
Recently, the Central Government had released the 20th installment of the scheme on August 2. After this, the 21st installment was also announced, but at present it has been sent only to the accounts of 27 lakh flood affected farmers of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The question for the remaining farmers is when will their 21st installment be released and who will get its benefit.
According to media reports, the government can release the 21st installment of PM Kisan Yojana by next November. It was also said in many media reports that the installment would be released before Diwali, but this did not happen. At present the government has not made any official announcement in this regard.
Which farmers will get the benefit of 21st installment?
Those farmers who have got their e-KYC and Bhulekh verification done under the scheme, will get the full benefit of the 21st installment. Those farmers who have not completed this necessary process will not get the benefit of the next installment.
Apart from this, the farmers who have entered the correct details while applying for the scheme will get the money in their bank account on time. At the same time, those who filled wrong details or made errors in the form, their application may be cancelled. For this reason such farmers will not get the 21st installment.
Why is e-KYC and details verification necessary?
To get the benefits of Kisan Yojana, get e-KYC and land records verified as soon as possible. If the farmer has entered wrong details then it should be corrected immediately. Only farmers with correct and verified information will be able to avail the benefit of the next instalment.
The central government has not only provided financial help through this scheme, but has also tried to bring stability and self-reliance in the lives of farmers. For years, small and marginal farmers found it difficult to meet the expenses related to farming. PM Kisan Yojana has provided relief to them by providing them a support of Rs 6,000 every year.
How to check whether the installment has come or not?
Farmers can easily check the status of their next installment online by visiting PM Kisan Portal. After logging in to the portal, farmers will know whether their application is correct or the installment has been released. Apart from this, farmers can also check and update e-KYC, Bhulekh and bank details through the portal. This will not cause any problem in future and every installment will reach their account on time.
