Amidst the Bihar elections, the rift in the grand alliance has filled further and the opposition alliance has taken all the major decisions unanimously. Tejashwi Yadav has been projected as the Chief Minister face and VIP chief Mukesh Sahni has been projected as the Deputy Chief Minister face. Obviously the disagreement that was arising between Congress and RJD has also been resolved.
Regarding this, former Chief Minister of Rajasthan and Congress’ Bihar election in-charge Ashok Gehlot spoke exclusively to ABP News and made a big revelation.
When Ashok Gehlot was questioned about making Tejashwi Yadav the CM face and the delay in the decision, he said, “Tejashwi’s name was already decided, only the right time was being waited for.” Ashok Gehlot claimed that Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge have taken the decision very thoughtfully.

The Congress leader said that there are many parties in an alliance. A formal announcement is made only after everyone’s consensus is reached. Ashok Gehlot claimed that Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge have taken the decision very wisely. First feedback was taken, it was considered and then after everyone’s consent, Tejashwi Yadav was launched.
Ashok Gehlot rejected NDA’s claim
In Bihar, NDA was repeatedly alleging – ‘Consensus is not being formed in the grand alliance. The opposition is not even able to tell who is contesting on which seat. It was Tejashwi Yadav who put pressure on the alliance to first declare him as the CM face, only then a compromise would be reached. Congress leader Ashok Gehlot rejected this. He informed that Tejashwi Yadav never said that he should be declared the CM face before or after. Unnecessary controversies were being created by making all these claims.

Attacking the NDA, Ashok Gehlot said, “False propaganda was spread that the India alliance has broken. This was all a ploy by the people of BJP-RSS. Such an environment was created and the grand alliance is not united. Nitish Kumar, who has been the CM for 20 years, is not able to actually work. Only BJP is using him to win the elections.”
