Well-known actress Tamannaah Bhatia has recently said something about South cinema which has started a new debate. Tamanna, who has worked in both South cinema and Hindi cinema, says that the way of looking at women in South is different as compared to Hindi cinema. According to her, the perception of women in the South is not very good.
Tamannaah Bhatia upset with South Industry
Tamannaah Bhatia recently gave an interview to ‘Forbes India’. During this, the actress talked about her bad experiences in the South film industry. He also told that this is his own personal experience and opinion. According to him, male-dominated thinking is more prevalent in the South. The actress further says that the way women are viewed there is ‘not very good’.

The actress further explained the difference between South and Bollywood. He said, ‘There are two types of actors in the Hindi film industry. People who see things from a more artistic perspective are better suited for certain types of roles. They may not always do glamorous song and dance numbers. In fact, the Hindi film industry gives you the opportunity to do either or both, and those who do both eventually become superstars.

She further told that she had understood these things when she made her debut in South. He told, ‘This is a special kind of look. Patriarchal thinking is reflected in this or it is a view which is not complimentary. I thought I understood the musical aspect of it. To do it right in the South, you needed that star quality, so I personally feel that cinema is equally or even more restrictive in this regard. I am talking about when you want to make it from a commercial perspective.
