Talking to Esquire India, Bobby Deol said, ‘There are many days when I wish I could sit and spend more time with my father. I could have asked him more questions. I have now become a little mindful about spending time with my sons, wife and family. Box office, reviews and roles…in the end all this does not matter. Success is ultimately measured by how much time you spend with the people you love. What’s the point of fame and money when there’s no one there to see it? You know I keep watching his reels on Instagram. He was very candid. Sometimes it seems as if he is talking directly to me.
Bobby told that his perspective of success has changed. Now for him family is above career.
‘Come close to Isha-Ahana’
Bobby also talked about his step-sisters Ahana and Isha. He said, ‘I think we are all dealing in our own way. Sometimes you misunderstand each other because you are hurt. Everyone feels that their pain is more than that of the other person. But you give time and it slowly gets better. Loss has its own way of bringing the family closer.
