YRF’s spy universe’s new film ‘Alpha’ has been released in theaters on July 3. This spy-action thriller starring Alia Bhatt, Sharvari and Bobby Deol was one of the much awaited films of the year. In such a situation, the film has had decent advance booking. Let us find out here how much collection it can make on the first day of its release?

What consequences may ‘Alpha’ have to face?

  • ‘Alpha’ is being released in theaters on June 3, that is, it is reaching theaters on non-holiday Friday. If it had released on a holiday, it could have garnered more viewers on the opening day.
  • It will also have to compete with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ released a week ago. The third installment of the Velmak franchise currently remains a favorite of the family audience.
  • After the tremendous success of ‘Dhurandhar’ franchise, the spy universe is facing a lot of criticism and trolling on social media. In such a situation, this film of Alia and Sharvari may be affected.

‘Alpha’ can open with how many crores?
Keeping all the factors in mind, Alia Bhatt’s Alpha, despite being supported by YRF’s spy ‘Spy Universe’, does not seem to be taking off well. According to Koimoi, this film can open accounts with a collection of Rs 5-7 crore (net) on the first day of its release. This means that it does not seem possible to collect it in double digits. Now only if the word-of-mouth remains positive it can achieve success at the box office.

This will be a shock for the YRF spy universe.
If this film opens in single digits, then Alia Bhatt’s film will become the first film in the ‘Spy Universe’ to earn less than Rs 10 crore nett, which will be quite shocking because all the films of YRF Spy Universe have had a good opening. One of them was Tiger, who had opened an account with Rs 32.92 crore on the first day. Whereas the opening day earning of Tiger Zinda Hai was Rs 34.1 crore while War had started with Rs 53.35 crore. At the same time, Pathan had collected Rs 57 crore on its first day. The opening day earning of Tiger 3 was Rs 44.5 crore and that of War 2 was Rs 52.5 crore.
