In Gurdaspur, Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal praised the work of the Bhagwant Mann government. AAP’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal said on Sunday (June 28) evening that the Bhagwant Mann government has worked more for Sanatan Dharma in Punjab than the previous governments.
AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal welcomed the devotees in the ‘Ek Sham in the Name of Lord Shiva’ program organized by the Punjab Government. During this program, Kejriwal said that for the first time, a bhajan evening dedicated to Sanatan Dharma is being organized on a large scale in the entire state.
Kejriwal mentioned the works of Mann government
Arvind Kejriwal mentioned the work of Bhagwant Mann government. Meanwhile, he said, “These days many people are telling me that no political party or government in Punjab has done so much work for Sanatan Dharma. Everyone says that Sanatan Dharma has got a big platform in Punjab.
Kejriwal said that a similar program was organized in Jalandhar a few days ago and in Amritsar on Saturday. Now such programs will be organized in all the 22 cities of Punjab. He said that the state government is spending Rs 80 crore on the redevelopment of the famous Kali Mata temple of Patiala and this work will be completed by September. Kejriwal also appealed to the people to visit the temple after October.
Politics intensifies before Punjab elections
Politics is intense in Punjab before the upcoming assembly elections. The issue of viral video of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is a hot topic. However, the opposition has raised questions regarding the report confirming the AI video. It is alleged that this report has been prepared by paying Rs 10 lakh. However, CM Mann rejected these allegations.
