Now there are reports that those traveling by air are also going to get some relief in the coming time.

Big decision regarding fuel surcharge
In fact, according to the report of NDTV, Indian airlines are considering withdrawing the fuel surcharge imposed in March this year. This step can be taken after the recent decline in the prices of crude oil and aviation turbine fuel (ATF). Airlines are actively discussing this and a decision can be taken by the end of the second quarter or the beginning of the third quarter.

Crude oil prices had increased due to the war between Iran and the US. Due to which the prices of fuel used in flights were also increased in the month of March. However, now some laxity is being seen in them. After which, currently the companies want to see whether the fall in fuel prices continues for a long time or not. Only after this will she reach any decision, at present only discussions are going on.

Tickets will also be cheaper
According to reports, fuel surcharge on domestic flights may be removed first, while on international routes, it is being considered to be abolished in a phased manner. If fuel surcharge is removed, there may be some relief in air ticket prices and flights may become more affordable for passengers than before.

Let us tell you that after the recent war, companies like Akasa, Indio, Air India had imposed surcharge. Which is now being tried to be removed.
