Karmajeevi Awas Yojana 2026: If you also dream of having your own house in Delhi, but the budget is tight, then this news is for you. Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is coming up with a special scheme for middle class people, registration for which is going to start from tomorrow i.e. Friday, 24th July.
Just before the Independence Day, Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has announced a new scheme by the name of ‘Karmajeevi Awas Yojana 2026’, under which 25% discount will be given on 1200 ready-to-move flats in Narela, North Delhi. According to the report of ‘The Indian Express’, although the registration process will start from July 24, but the booking will start from August 15 through the DDA Housing Portal. It will be on ‘first come, first served’ basis.
What will be the price after 25% discount?
All these flats are completely constructed or ready-to-move. These are being sold on freehold basis, meaning buyers will not have to wait long for possession.
1 BHK flat- Starting price Rs 33.40 lakh
2 BHK flat- Starting price 75.55 lakh
3 BHK flat- Starting price Rs 1.065 crore
A DDA spokesperson said that the scheme was launched under the supervision of Delhi Lieutenant Governor and DDA Chairman Taranjit Singh Sandhu. Its objective was to make it easier for working professionals to buy a home. According to the report, the spokesperson said that the aim of this initiative was to help those people in buying houses who have made and are making significant contribution in the nation building and economic progress of India.
Who will get the benefit of the scheme?
- This scheme of DDA will benefit all the government employees, which includes all the working and retired employees of Central Government, State Government, PSU, Government Banks, Autonomous Bodies and Government Universities.
- Employees working in the corporate sector, IT professionals, doctors, CAs and other private sector professionals are also eligible for this scheme.
- Those who have their own business or startup can also apply under this scheme.
- The most important thing about the scheme is that even if you already own a house or plot in Delhi, you can still apply to buy a flat under this scheme.

As already mentioned, this scheme will work on ‘first come, first served’ basis, hence the flat will be allotted to the one who applies and pays first.
