LPG Gas Supply in India: Since the war between Iran and America, the supply chain of petroleum products in India has been adversely affected. Now information has come to light that it will take about four years to restore the supply of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in India. A government official has said this. However, continuous efforts are being made by the government to ensure that the supply of LPG gas, petrol and diesel continues without any interruption.
A senior official, while talking to the English website Money Control, said that at present the entire focus of the government is on the supply of LPG and crude oil. Efforts are being made to ensure that supply of LPG gas cylinders continues to all the houses and if any shortage occurs, it should be removed immediately.
Sources of very important supplies have closed – officials
The official further said, “The government is continuously taking information from the affected suppliers. On the basis of this information, we can say that it may take three to four years or even more time for the supply of LPG to improve as before. The official said that some very important supply sources have been closed, hence these problems are being faced.
The official also said, “It is not yet clear what the closure of the source means whether the entire wells have become empty or the production itself has stopped.” The suppliers themselves are saying that it will take at least three years.
Interruption in supply due to instability
Let us tell you that after the war between Iran, America and Israel that started on February 27, there was a crisis regarding the supply of LPG, petrol and diesel in India, which is still going on. Although ceasefire is now in force in Iran, there is a continuous dispute regarding Hormuz. Due to this instability, there is a threat to the supply of LPG gas. About 90 percent of LPG is supplied to India through the Hormuz route.
