TCS Nashik Case: Amidst the investigation into allegations of religious conversion and sexual misconduct related to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Nashik, the company gave a clarification on Friday. The company has said that it has not received any complaint regarding such matters through any of its internal channels. Let us know, what does the company have to say on this subject?

According to TCS, even in the initial investigation of the systems and records related to Nashik unit, no complaint of any such allegation has come to light. According to TCS, neither the Ethics Channel nor any platform related to POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) has filed any such report.
Committee formed to investigate
To further strengthen the investigation of the case, the company has decided to constitute an oversight committee. There is also talk of involving external organizations in the investigation process. The reason behind forming the committee is to ensure impartial investigation of the case. According to the company, the responsibility of this committee has been handed over to Keki Mistry, the independent director of the board.
Police have so far arrested 7 people in this investigation. Which also includes 1 female HR head. At the same time, another employee, Nida Khan, is said to be absconding.
TCS Nashik Case
According to police investigation, this matter came to light after a complaint by a woman. In which she accused her co-worker Danish Shaikh of having physical relations with her by promising to marry her in 2022, even though he was already married.
According to the police, Danish Sheikh’s sister Nida Khan has also been facing serious allegations. It has been said in the report that Nida said objectionable things about the religion of the complainant and also put pressure on him for religious conversion.
It is also alleged that Nida Khan hid the fact that Danish was already married. 7 more women have come forward in the police investigation. Who has accused his senior employees of mental and physical harassment.
