In the 16th meeting of the security agencies and national security advisors of the BRICS countries, Iran’s National Security Council Deputy Secretary Ghadir Nezamipour strongly rejected the allegations made by the representative of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Not only this, he also alleged that they fully supported America and Israel in the campaign against Iran. Nezamipour said, America and the ‘Zionist regime’ are responsible for the recent conflict in the region and the circumstances that arose thereafter.

Ghadir Nezamipour alleged that he had initiated the crisis and attacks in the Strait of Hormuz. Nezamipour also claimed, a portion of these attacks were conducted from bases located on UAE soil, and that the UAE, while participating in these actions, allowed its territory to be used for attacks on Iran’s civilian infrastructure, schools and hospitals. Nezamipour said, “We hope that instead of propaganda and adventurism, the UAE will respect the principles of good neighborly relations and choose the path of peace, stability and regional cooperation.
