By-elections will be held on one assembly seat each of Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat that has fallen vacant. This has been announced by the Election Commission on Thursday (July 02, 2026). The seat that has become vacant in Bihar is the seat of BJP National President Nitin Naveen. He is from Bankipur assembly seat of Patna. (Bankipur Legislative Assembly Seat) Was MLA from.
Bankipur seat became vacant after Nitin Naveen resigned after being elected to Rajya Sabha. According to the Election Commission, voting will be held on July 30. The election results will come on August 3.
