The duty of guest teachers was imposed to complete the census process in Delhi in an error-free manner. However, about 142 guest teachers have refused to do duty. Since then, these teachers have been employed. In fact, the District Magistrate has expressed displeasure over this attitude of the teachers, termed it as ‘negligence’ and ‘indiscipline’ and has recommended immediate termination of the services of all the teachers.
It has been said in the order that such behavior is against public interest and may have an adverse impact on other employees as well.
