CRPF Recruitment 2026: Good news has come for the candidates preparing for government jobs. Notification has been issued for recruitment to constable posts in Central Reserve Police Force. Thousands of posts will be filled under this recruitment process, which will provide a good opportunity to join the security force. The application process for this recruitment is going to start from 20th April, while the last date to apply has been fixed as 19th May 2026. Interested candidates will be able to apply online within the stipulated time.
On how many vacancies will there be recruitment?

A total of 9,175 posts will be appointed through this recruitment process. Of these, 9,096 posts are earmarked for male candidates and 79 posts for women. Along with technical and tradesman, posts of pioneer wing are also included. To apply for these posts, all candidates must have passed 10th from any recognized board. For some posts, ITI certificate or experience in the relevant trade is also sought, such as for the posts of driver and mechanic. Apart from this, if we talk about the age limit, it has been fixed at 21 to 27 years for the post of driver and 18 to 23 years for other posts. Reserved categories will also be given relaxation as per government rules.

Physical and other standards for recruitment process

Physical criteria also play a very important role in recruitment. For this recruitment process, the minimum height of male candidates has been fixed at 170 cm and that of female candidates has been fixed at 157 cm. Whereas for men, chest measurement is required to be 80 cm. Talking about the race, men will have to complete the 5 km race in 24 minutes and women will have to complete the 1.6 km race in 8.5 minutes.

What is the selection process?

Candidates will be selected on the basis of several stages. First of all there will be Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test. After this a computer based examination will be conducted. After this trade test, document verification and medical test will be done. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in CBT. Let us tell you that a total of 100 questions will be asked in the written examination which will be of 100 marks. The exam time will be two hours, it will include Reasoning, General Knowledge, Mathematics, Hindi and English subjects. Negative marking of 0.25 marks will also be applicable on every wrong answer.

How to apply?

After the start of the application process, candidates will be able to fill the online form by visiting the official website. For this, first you will have to register, then fill the application and upload the necessary documents. After depositing the fees, the form will have to be submitted and its printout will have to be kept safe for future. Whereas male candidates of General, OBC and EWS category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Apart from this, fee relaxation has been given to ST, SC, women candidates and ex-servicemen.
