Chennai Super Kings vs Gujarat Titans Highlights: Gujarat Titans have defeated Chennai Super Kings by 8 wickets. With this big win, Gujarat has ended its two-match losing streak. CSK could neither do well in batting nor bowling, while Chennai team was playing on its home ground.

Chennai’s batting-bowling sub flop

Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad played a half-century inning of 74 runs. During this period, Gaikwad also made the record of scoring the slowest fifty in IPL 2026, as he completed 50 runs in 49 balls. Somehow Chennai team reached 158 runs.

Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan gave a good start to Gujarat Titans, who came to chase the target of 159 runs. Both of them had made an opening partnership of 58 runs. Chennai bowlers were able to give the first blow to GT in the seventh over. By then the foundation of Gujarat’s victory had been laid.

Sai Sudarshan became hero

Sai Sudarshan was the hero of Gujarat Titans’ victory. He had ended the hopes of Chennai Super Kings’ victory by making a partnership of 97 runs with Jos Buttler. Sudarshan was out on the score of 87 runs while trying to hit the winning shot. Whereas Butler returned unbeaten after scoring 39 runs.

This big win has taken Gujarat Titans to fifth place in the points table. Gujarat currently has 8 points, Chennai Super Kings also has 8 points but its net run rate has become weaker than Gujarat.
