Recently, the Samrat Chaudhary government of Bihar has decided to increase the DA of the government employees of its state in the cabinet meeting. The government is increasing dearness allowance of employees by 2 percent. Recently, the first meeting of the Emperor’s cabinet was held, in which he gave a big gift to the government employees. In this meeting, it has been decided to increase the DA of government employees in Bihar from 58 percent to 60 percent.

After this decision of the Samrat Cabinet, about 9 lakh government employees and pensioners will directly benefit. By increasing DA, not only the salary will increase but the pension of retired employees will also increase. This increase under the Seventh Pay Commission will be effective from January 1, 2026. The government said that the purpose of increase in dearness allowance is to maintain the purchasing power of employees and pensioners.

The employees of the state are very happy after this decision taken in the cabinet of Samrat Chaudhary government. Along with increasing DA, the government has also increased Dearness Relief (DR). Under this decision, DA of sixth pay scale employees has been increased from 257% to 262%. Whereas the DA of fifth pay scale employees has been increased from 474% to 483%.
