Let us tell you that Warner has been arrested in Australia on charges of drunk driving. Warner’s PSL team Karachi Kings had played the first three league matches till 02 April. Now the fourth match will be held on 09 April. Meanwhile, Warner had returned to Australia for a short break. According to News.com.au, Warner got into serious trouble for drunk driving after the incident in Maroubra, Sydney on Tuesday.

New South Wales Police took Warner’s breath sample, in which it was found that he had consumed alcohol more than the limit. His blood reading was 0.104, which is double the Australian limit. Based on this, Warner was charged and arrested and taken to Maroubra Police Station.

Instructions received to appear in court next month

“On Sunday (April 05) at around 5:30 am, police were conducting random breath tests on Malabar Road, Maroubra. A van was allegedly seen stopped and parked at a distance from the testing site. Traffic and Highway Patrol officers approached the vehicle and conducted a roadside test on the driver (a 39-year-old man), the result of which was positive,” the police statement said. There will be a hearing in the court in this case next month.

Warner’s team’s performance in PSL

Warner’s team has won the first three matches in PSL. Karachi Kings won the first match against Quetta Gladiators by 14 runs. In the second match, the team defeated Lahore Qalandars by 4 wickets. In the third match, Karachi Kings defeated Rawalpindi by 5 wickets.
