Bihar’s Jehanabad police arrested Vikku Singh alias Ravan, the wanted accused in the Deepak murder case, after an encounter on Thursday night. The accused was shot in the leg in the encounter that took place in Ghosi police station area, from where he has been sent to the hospital. According to the police, the accused fired at the police team, in which he was injured in retaliatory firing.
After the arrest of the accused, the police had taken him to recover the weapon, when suddenly the accused opened fire on the police team and tried to run away, on which the police team also countered. At present he is undergoing treatment in Sadar Hospital.

Let us tell you here that on Monday (May 18) night, a young man named Deepak Kumar Sharma was brutally murdered in Dedhsaiya village of Bhelawar police station area. Deepak was shot in the head by two unknown assailants riding a Bullet. The deceased was the son of Kaushal Kishore Sharma, resident of Deepak Chatar village. This massacre spread panic and anger in the entire area. The name of Vikku Singh alias Ravana emerged in the police investigation. The police team intensified the search for the accused and launched a raid, in which he was arrested on Thursday.

ASP Manoj Kumar Pandey said that the police team took the accused near Dhuryari canal to recover the weapon. Suddenly the accused opened fire on the police team with the weapon hidden there. In retaliation, the accused was shot in the leg and got injured. He has been admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment.
Due to this massacre, panic spread in the entire area and there was a lot of pressure on the police. Now in this case the police is also searching for others involved in this murder.
