In the initial investigation, the cause of the fire is believed to be short circuit in the AC and household items related to it. Station Officer Phool Singh Meena said that when fire brigade personnel reached the spot, the entire building was filled with smoke and many people were trapped inside. Seeing the situation, rescue operation was started immediately. Fire brigade personnel safely brought down the people trapped on the second and third floors with the help of stairs.

A total of 8 people were rescued safely during the rescue operation, which included four children, two women and two men. All the people were taken out safely in time. Fire department officer Raj Kumar said that when the team reached the spot, two children and two adults were present on the ground floor, while two children and two adults were also trapped on the third floor. Everyone was rescued safely.
