Through this recruitment of Delhi High Court, a total of 27 posts of Higher Judicial Service (HJS) will be appointed. The application process has started and candidates can submit their applications online till 15 July 2026. This recruitment is considered a great opportunity for the candidates making a career in judicial services.
Only those candidates can apply for this recruitment, who have the required judicial or advocacy experience as sought in the notification along with the prescribed educational qualification of law. It is important to read all the eligibility conditions carefully before applying.
The minimum age of the applying candidates has been fixed at 35 years and maximum age at 45 years. Reserved category candidates will get the benefit of age relaxation as per government rules.
Candidates will be selected in three phases. First there will be a preliminary examination, in which 150 multiple choice questions will be asked for 150 marks. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours and negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applicable on each wrong answer. After this there will be main examination and then interview. Final selection will be done on the basis of performance in main examination and interview.
The application fee for general category candidates has been kept at Rs 2,000. Whereas SC, ST and PwBD category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500. The fee will be paid through online mode. The candidates selected in this recruitment will get a salary of Rs 1,44,840 to Rs 1,94,660 every month. Apart from this, benefits of dearness allowance, traveling allowance, medical facilities and other government allowances will also be given as per rules.
