The minimum age of the applying candidates has been fixed at 35 years and maximum age at 45 years. Reserved category candidates will get the benefit of age relaxation as per government rules.

Candidates will be selected in three phases. First there will be a preliminary examination, in which 150 multiple choice questions will be asked for 150 marks. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours and negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applicable on each wrong answer. After this there will be main examination and then interview. Final selection will be done on the basis of performance in main examination and interview.
