However, if we talk about the film earning the highest profit percentage among the top 5 films of the month of May, a small budget Marathi film has defeated them all. Marathi film ‘Deul Band 2’ is the highest profit earning film.
Top 5 films, in this case ‘Deul Band 2’ comes out ahead
Ormax Media has shared the list of top 5 films of the month of May. ‘Karuppu’ is at number 1 in this list with earnings of Rs 229 crore. ‘Drishyam 3’ is at second place with earnings of Rs 133 crore. ‘Raja Shivaji’ is at number three. The film earned 113 crores. ‘Obsession’ is at number four with an earning of Rs 102 crore. ‘Deul Band 2’ is at number five. The film earned Rs 90 crores.

‘Deul Band 2’ earned 800 percent profit
‘Deul Band 2’ is at the forefront in terms of profit. This film has earned a profit of 800 percent. The film was made with a budget of Rs 10 crore and has earned Rs 90 crore. Right now the movie is in theatre.
Whereas ‘Karuppu’ earned a profit of 76.15 percent. The film was made with a budget of Rs 130 crore and earned Rs 229 crore. Whereas ‘Raja Shivaji’ was made with a budget of Rs 75 crore and earned Rs 113 crore. The film made a profit of 50.67 percent. Whereas the budget of ‘Drishyam 3’ is Rs 100 crore. The film earned Rs 133 crore. The profit of the film was 33 percent.
