People are asking questions on social media that on the scoreboard, Abhishek’s score is being shown as 49 runs in 20 balls, whereas during the live commentary it was shown that Abhishek has completed his fifty. There is an uproar over this score published on the live score sharing platform Cricbuzz. Cricbuzz has not yet shared any official statement on this. However, the figure published during the commentary has been removed, in which it was told that Abhishek has completed fifty for the fifth time in 20 or less balls.

Cricbuzz has also removed the figure in which it was told that Abhishek has scored the third fastest fifty against Ireland in T20 International. The whole uproar has arisen because of the data available on the Cricbuzz app.

The truth is that Abhishek Sharma had scored a fifty and he had completed fifty runs in just 19 balls. ‘Sony Sports’, the official broadcaster of the India vs Ireland series, had shown on live TV that Abhishek’s fifty had been completed and he also celebrated his half-century by raising the bat.
