Joseph clearly said in an interview with the international media that Iran has used Lebanon as a bargaining chip in peace talks with America, this will not be accepted at any cost. Joseph also vented his anger on Iran’s proxy terrorist supporter Hezbollah and said in a clear tone that one has to be ready for talks.
In fact, for a peace agreement with America, Iran has set a condition that Israel’s attacks in Lebanon will have to be completely stopped. If this does not happen, then the peace talks should be considered cancelled. Lebanon has been kept prominent in the 14 conditions that Iran has put before America.
IDF moving to capture large part of southern Lebanon
Since the Iran War (28 February-8 April), Israel has wreaked havoc on Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have broken the backbone of Hezbollah in air strikes in southern Lebanon, including the capital Beirut.
Israel has announced that a buffer zone of about 35 kilometers will be created from its country’s border to southern Lebanon. In such a situation, the IDF army has captured a large part here and started moving forward.
A large number of people lost their lives in Israeli attacks
Israel’s rapid air strikes have caused tremendous collateral damage and a large number of innocent civilians including Hezbollah terrorists (fighters) are losing their lives. Homes, offices, hospitals have all been razed to the ground due to Israeli attacks and Southern Lebanon is ready to become another Gaza.

Israel has been repeatedly saying that the IDF attacks are not targeting Lebanon, but Hezbollah. In fact, Hezbollah has more influence in Lebanon than the Joseph government and the Lebanese Army. The streets of the city are dominated by Hezbollah fighters rather than the Lebanese police. The Lebanese army is also hesitant in taking action against Hezbollah.
Even Trump upset by Israeli attacks in Lebanon
Iran has also troubled US President Donald Trump regarding Lebanon. In such a situation, Trump even reprimanded Netanyahu for the attacks on Lebanon. Trump has called Netanyahu crazy for attacking Lebanon, but Netanyahu has said that attacks on Hezbollah will continue.
Trump also organized two-day peace talks this week between the Lebanese and Israeli ambassadors in Washington DC. After this conversation, Lebanese President Joseph’s tone has changed and he scolded Iran, which even Iran, not to mention Israel and America, had not imagined.
