DU UG Admission 2026: A big update has come for thousands of students waiting for admission in Delhi University. The university has released the seat allotment list for the second round of UG admission under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS-UG). Candidates who had participated in the second phase can now check which college and which course they have got through their login.
Candidates will have to accept their allotted seats by today i.e. 26th July 2026, while to confirm the admission, it is necessary to deposit the fees by 28th July 2026. The new academic session of Delhi University is going to start from 28th July 2026. Now the most important task for the candidates is to accept their seat within the stipulated time. After this, the college will check the documents and admission will be confirmed after depositing the fees by the last due date. How many students got seats in the second round?
According to Delhi University, a total of 88,584 candidates appeared in the second phase of UG admission. In this round, new seats were allotted to 24,814 candidates. 30,682 students got upgraded to a better college or course as per their choice. While 15,265 students had frozen their seats in the first round, hence their earlier allotment was retained.

Do these things today after getting the seat?
1.If your name has appeared in the second round, then first of all log in to your account on the CSAS Admission Portal of Delhi University.
2. There you will see information about the allotted college and course.
3. After this, accept your seat within the stipulated time limit.
4.After accepting the seat, the concerned college will verify your application and all the necessary documents.
5. After completion of verification, you will have to deposit the online admission fee before 28th July 2026.
6. Your admission will be considered completely confirmed only after the fees are deposited.
7. Keep the admission confirmation and fee payment receipt safe for use in future if needed.
Mid-entry window will open in August
Delhi University has informed that mid-entry window will also be opened in August to fill the remaining seats during the UG admission process. Under this facility, those eligible students will also be able to participate in the subsequent admission round, who had not registered earlier and want to take admission on the remaining vacant seats.
