In the 234-seat Tamil Nadu Assembly, the majority mark for any party to form the government is 118. At the same time, the majority figure in Puducherry Assembly with 30 seats is 16. According to the data, record voting percentage was also recorded in these states. The voting percentage in the elections held in Assam was 85.38.
Similarly, the voting percentage in Kerala was 78, in Tamil Nadu the voting percentage was 85.1, in Puducherry the voting percentage was 89.08 and in West Bengal the voting percentage was 92.47. Before counting of votes, strict security arrangements have been made at the counting centres. All counting centers in West Bengal have been converted into high-security zones.
