What did Kriti Sanon say?
Kriti told that if an actress asks questions about her character or scene, then she is considered to be asking excessive questions, whereas if a male star does the same thing, he is praised. The actress said, ‘When a female actor asks a question, it happens, ‘She asks so many questions, 50 questions will start.’ I think that’s the kind of conversation that happens. On the contrary, when a male star asks a question, he is said to be very involved. This has happened with me too. When I asked the same questions, I was told, ‘Don’t overanalyze it.’ But when this came from the boy’s side, he said, ‘Okay, it can be done.’
Assistant directors are afraid of male actors
Kriti further said, ‘Many times these are small things like what kind of car or room was given to the male actor and what kind of room was given to me. I mean, it doesn’t matter to me, even if I get a smaller room or a car, it doesn’t make me feel less. Even ADs have a habit of calling girls first on the set. They don’t realize that they are a little more afraid of male actors and sometimes take female actors lightly.
