Focus should be on effective and sensitive governance – Kiran Bedi
The former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry also said that there is a need to be sensitive to the needs and expectations of the people. This is especially important for the youth because their entire life is still left. “Focus on effective and sensitive governance in every way,” he said. Don’t waste even a single day.
Kiran Bedi recently gave suggestions to deal with the protest
Earlier, former IPS Kiran Bedi had mentioned the way student protests were handled in other parts of the country including Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. He had suggested that instead of anti-riot police, civil defense personnel could be deployed as the first line of security to deal with the protests.
His suggestion came at a time when police action against protesting students was being criticized during the ‘Sansad Chalo’ march led by ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ (CJP) on July 20.
