The suspense over the peace agreement between America and Iran has finally ended. Donald Trump announced the peace deal on Sunday (June 14). The US-Iran deal will be signed on June 16 (Sunday), in which US Vice President JD Vance and Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf will be present. Terms of US-Iran Peace Deal Agreement
1- Military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon, will be ended immediately and permanently.
2- Iran’s frozen assets worth $24 billion will be released during 60 days of talks. Half of this money will be released even before the talks begin.
3 -There will be no interference in the internal affairs of Iran and the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic will be respected.
4 – America will withdraw troops from around Iran within 30 days.
5 – The Strait of Hormuz will be allowed to reopen under the Iranian arrangement. The naval blockade will be removed.
6 – Iran will have to stick to its promise of not making nuclear weapons.
7 – A condition is also included for America and its allies to present plans worth at least 300 billion dollars for the reconstruction of Iran.
8 – It is proposed to suspend sanctions on Iran oil, petrochemical products and related exports. So that Tehran can get full rights on its income.
9 – The discussion will be limited only to the future of enriched uranium, enrichment, relief in sanctions and economic reconstruction.
10- Iran’s missile program and support given to allied armed groups will be kept out of the agenda.
11. During peace agreement negotiations, America will not deploy additional troops in the region nor impose new sanctions.
12. A monitoring system will be created to complete the agreement, through which its implementation will be monitored.
13. The finalized agreement will be approved by the resolution of the United Nations Security Council.
14. Iran will be free to use its financial resources.
According to Iran’s Mehr News Agency, these terms of the agreement have not yet been confirmed by Iran or America. This may change as both sides move towards formal talks.
