Heat wave has started in Uttar Pradesh. The temperature has increased rapidly during the day, due to which the state has started burning like a furnace. In the last one week, the maximum temperature of the state has increased by an average of 10 degrees. The strong sunlight and hot winds during the day have made people miserable. The weather department has predicted the heat to increase further in the coming days.

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry in UP today also on 16th April. At present there are no signs of any western disturbance anywhere. All the districts of the state remain in the green zone today. The sky is very clear since morning and the heat of the sun will increase as the day progresses. At some places, hot winds will blow at a speed of 15-20 km, which will increase the problem further.

Weather condition from Noida, Agra to Lucknow

The weather in the capital Lucknow has also changed rapidly in the last few days. The torture of heat has started here too. The scorching sunlight during the day is making the body feel like it is burning. The maximum temperature in the district today is expected to be 40 and the minimum temperature will be 21 degrees Celsius, while there will be strong sunshine in Noida, Meerut and Ghaziabad today.

Even in Taj city Agra, the temperature has crossed 40. Here too, sunshine will continue throughout the day. The temperature has increased in the divisions of Agra and Bareilly. There will be scorching heat and hot winds in many areas including Lucknow, Kanpur, Jhansi, Mathura, Agra, Aligarh, Muzaffarnagar, Rampur and Bijnor.

Banda remained the hottest district of the state

Banda was the hottest district of the state in the last 24 hours. The maximum temperature here reached 42 degrees. In many districts including Jhansi, Prayagraj, Varanasi and Sultanpur, the temperature has been recorded above 40 degrees. Apart from these, alert has been given for severe heat and heat wave in Azamgarh, Ghazipur, Gorakhpur, Basti, Mirzapur, Ballia, Jaunpur of Purvanchal today. According to the Meteorological Department, the heat will increase further in the next 4-5 days and the maximum temperature may rise by 3-4 degrees.
