Voting is going on for 142 seats in eight districts of West Bengal. Bumper voting took place in the second phase of Bengal till 11 o’clock. According to the Election Commission website, 39.97 percent voting took place in just four hours. The highest incidence has occurred in Purba Bardhaman district. Here till 11 o’clock 44.50 percent people have used their votes. If we talk about Mamata Banerjee’s Bhawanipur seat, only 37.27 percent voting took place here, which is less than the average voting.

How much voting took place till 9 o’clock?
Till 9 o’clock, 18.39 percent voting took place on these seats of Bengal. In which maximum voting was done in Purba Bardhaman at 20.86 percent. The lowest voting was in Kolkata South at 16.81 percent. Mamata Banerjee’s Bhawanipur seat falls in Kolkata South district only. BJP candidate from here is Subhendu Adhikari. Shubhendu is the same leader who defeated Mamata Banerjee from Nandigram seat after joining BJP in the 2021 elections. Now he is contesting from both Nandigram and Bhawanipur seats.
Mamta Banerjee accused the center
Mamata Banerjee has alleged that the police observers from outside are working at the behest of BJP. He said that all our posters have been removed. Are elections like this? Voters will cast their votes, not police or security forces. Some new people have been brought in recently and they are acting arbitrarily. He is spreading terrorism.

Shubhendu Adhikari accused TMC
Shubhendu Adhikari said that BJP’s election symbol was taped at a polling booth in Falta. He said, ‘We are also monitoring the situation and will do whatever is necessary. The Election Commission has also taken cognizance of this. If it continues like this then whatever is necessary will be done.
He said that Bhupendra Yadav ji had called me at 9 in the morning. I informed him about the situation. Just a few minutes ago, Home Minister, my leader Amit Shah ji called me. I told him about the Falta incident. This is the strategy of TMC. We are taking action. Nothing has happened yet. 35 percent voting has been done, a lot is still to be seen.
