US President Donald Trump issued a new threat to Iran. He said that he could eliminate the remaining leadership of the country with just one shot during the funeral of late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. He further said that he will not do this because there will be no one left to talk.

“They’re all there,” Trump told Axios. “We could eliminate them all in one shot, but we won’t because then we’ll have no one left to negotiate with. They’re begging for a deal.” He also said that both sides have decided to take a week’s break from talks until the activities related to Khamenei’s funeral are over. Trump said that during this period neither side will attack the other.

After the death of Ali Khamenei in the American-Israeli attack on February 28, there was speculation about the time of the funeral since March. Generally, according to Islamic rules, the deceased should ideally be buried within 24 hours, but due to the war situation, this was not possible at that time.

Why chose the day of 4th July?
Let us tell you that Iran chose July 4, which is America’s 250th anniversary, to start the process of Khamenei’s funeral. As part of the funeral rituals, programs and other religious events will be held on July 7 in the holy city of Qom, south of Tehran. The process will be completed with Khamenei’s burial in his hometown Mashhad on July 9.

What did Trump say after seeing people crying?

Millions of Iranians have gathered in the streets for Khamenei’s funeral procession, making it one of the most talked about events around the world. Trump expressed surprise at the crying of Iranians during the funeral and said that he thought people hated Khamenei. He said, “Maybe these are fake tears.” Earlier, Trump had said that America has given Iran a week’s time for the last rites.

Trump said that we defeated Venezuela in one day and have made Iran’s condition very bad, so they are desperate for a compromise. They want to compromise very badly. We gave them a week’s time for the last rites because we are good people.

Will Mujtaba attend father’s funeral?

The representative of Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei in India has said that due to security reasons he will not attend the funeral rituals of his father Ali Khamenei. According to ANI report, Ayatollah Hakim Ilahi said that it would be dangerous for Mujtaba to attend publicly because of the risks of Israeli threats and surveillance.
