In the second T20 being played at Old Trafford, Manchester, India has given a target of 191 runs to England after playing first. Team India had scored 65 runs after losing one wicket in the powerplay. The score in 10 overs was 96 runs for two wickets. The score had become 144 in 15 overs. Runs were not scored quickly in the last five overs. Two runs were scored in the 16th over, seven runs in the 17th over and only 9 runs in the 18th over. However, 17 runs came in the last over. In this way, the Indian team scored 190 runs on the board for seven wickets in 20 overs. Ishan Kishan scored the highest 49 runs for India.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi flopped in his debut match, but created history
Vaibhav Suryavanshi created history by debuting in international cricket at the age of 15 years and 99 days. He has become the youngest Indian to debut in international cricket. He also held the record for being the youngest Indian to hit a six in T20 International. In his first match, Vaibhav scored 14 runs in 10 balls with the help of two sixes. He made a half-century partnership with Abhishek Sharma. Abhishek played an inning of 43 runs in 24 balls. 8 fours and one six came from his bat.
India scored 65 runs after losing one wicket in the powerplay. When both the openers were out, all eyes were on captain Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan. Both got a good start. Iyer played an innings of 37 runs in 22 balls. Three fours and one six came from his bat. Whereas Ishan Kishan missed the half-century. He was out after scoring 49 runs in 40 balls with the help of six fours.
Then Shivam Dubey was out cheaply for five runs in seven balls and Akshar Patel was out cheaply for two runs in three balls. In the end Tilak Verma played some big shots. Tilak returned unbeaten on 24 runs in 11 balls. He hit two sixes and one four. Harshit Rana was out after hitting a six in three balls.
Sam Curran bowled amazingly for England. This all-rounder player took three wickets for 33 runs in four overs. Apart from this, Joffra Archer, Will Jacques and Liam Dawson got one success each. It was Will Jacques who dismissed Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
