Instagram and Facebook Down: Today, Meta’s two social media platforms Instagram and Facebook suddenly stopped working due to which users around the world have to face a lot of trouble. While there was trouble in posting anything on Instagram, videos were not being posted or uploaded on Facebook. Let us tell you that the effect of this outage has been seen in many countries including India, America, Singapore.
Problem with feed and messaging on Instagram
According to Downdetector, more than 1,900 complaints related to Instagram were registered in India till 2:20 pm today. Users reported that their feed was not refreshing, some sections of the app were not opening and there was also a problem in sending direct messages (DM).
However, it has not come to light that all users face this problem. Some people were able to open the app but many features were not working while for some Instagram was not loading completely.
Facebook users also remained worried
According to the information, this outage was not limited to Instagram only but Facebook was also affected by it. Yes, in fact, Facebook users have also faced a lot of problems in using the app. More than 600 Facebook-related complaints were filed in India, which included problems opening websites and apps, news feeds not loading and problems accessing account features.
Meta did not give the reason
Let us tell you that as of now Meta has not shared any information on this matter. The company also did not tell how much time it would take for all services to become completely normal. However, after some time, the number of complaints on Downdetector had reduced significantly, due to which it can be assumed that the services have slowly started again.
