Disappointing bowling of Jasprit Bumrah

Runs are being scored easily on the balls of Bumrah, known as the Yorker King. 15 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi had hit a six on his first ball. Bumrah, who conceded 164 runs by bowling 19 overs in 5 matches of the season, could not get even a single wicket. This is troubling and also one of the reasons for MI’s continuous defeats.
Irfan said it is important to get wickets
Analyzing Bumrah’s bowling on his YouTube channel, Irfan Pathan said, “It is very important for Bumrah to get wickets. There is no problem in his form. His average speed this season has been around 130 km/h. He is using about 44 percent of the slow balls, almost every second ball is slow.”
Pathan said, ‘I think if he bowls more fast balls than slow balls, he will get results. This could be an easy solution to the problem, otherwise Bumrah does not need coaching.
No one believes in Bumrah’s mistake – Aakash Chopra
Aakash Chopra said on his YouTube channel, ‘I do not consider Bumrah to be at fault in this. Still Bumrah is not giving many runs. Their economy is still below 10. The problem lies with those who bowled before and after Bumrah. He is giving away so many runs that no one wants to take risk on Bumrah. That’s why he is not getting wickets. It is difficult to get a wicket on a good ball in T20 cricket. The batsman will get the wicket only when he goes for the shot.
