The festival of Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid) is being celebrated all over the world. Israel also congratulated Bakrid by posting on social media platforms. On this, the Iranian Consulate in Hyderabad launched a sharp attack calling Israel a ‘butcher’.

The Iranian Consulate in Hyderabad hit back at Jerusalem’s greetings on Bakrid, writing, ‘The butcher is extending hearty wishes for Eid al-Adha.’

Iranian Embassy congratulated on Eid
Iranian Embassy in India congratulated all Indians on Eid. In a post on Twitter, the embassy said, ‘On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, we congratulate the Government and dear people of India, especially our dear Muslim brothers and sisters. May this happy festival bring peace, prosperity and happiness to all and further strengthen the bond of historical and cultural friendship between our two nations. Happy Eid!’

Iranian President congratulated on Eid al-Adha
Iranian President Masoud Pejeshkian also extended greetings on the occasion of Bakrid. In his talks with the leaders of Iraq, Oman, Qatar, Turkey, Tajikistan, Egypt, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan, he congratulated Eid al-Adha, saying, ‘I expressed the hope that Allah will bring the hearts of us Muslims closer to each other and we will expand cooperation in all areas and remain stronger for each other in the face of threats.’
