Now Honey Singh has recently revealed that Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar had already warned him about his drug use.
Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar gave advice
Honey Singh also spoke openly about his career, fame, loneliness and his downfall in AB Talks podcast. He told how bipolar disorder took away all the hair from his head. Honey Singh also told that Bollywood superstars Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar had advised him to stay away from drugs.

I considered myself God – Honey Singh
Talking about his stardom from 2011 to 2014, rapper Honey Singh said, ‘I was not happy. During the year 2013-14, I was at the peak of my career. I had no control over myself. My thinking was also quite different then. When I achieved a position, my behavior changed. I started talking differently and insulting everyone. I started thinking that I had done all this on my own. I even started calling myself God. I was earning a lot of money and had become successful at a very young age. While doing all this, I had also got into drugs. My mental health had deteriorated badly, I never liked that version of myself.
Why did Honey Singh’s downfall happen?
Honey Singh further said, ‘My downfall has not happened because of fame or entertainment industry. I myself and my thinking were responsible for this. During the conversation, he recalled the period of his career when he worked with the biggest stars of the industry – Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.
‘It will spoil you’
Honey Singh said, ‘I do not want to blame the entertainment industry for anything. I got a chance to work with veteran artists at a very young age and see their lives closely. Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar – all of them are very simple people, there is no pretense in them. He used to look at me and tell me to stay away from what I was doing, because it was wrong. Especially Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar. Shahrukh Khan told me many times, ‘It will spoil, destroy and ruin you.’
