During the relief and rescue operation being conducted after the earthquake in Venezuela, firefighters from Miranda rescued a parrot trapped in the debris. The name of this parrot is Panchito. According to the information, after the earthquake, Panchito was trapped in the debris of apartment number 8 of Opp033 located in La Guerra area. After a long search operation, the rescue team took him out safely.
It is being told that Panchito was found the only survivor of that apartment. After his safe exit from the debris, rescue workers and local people called it a news of hope and relief. After taking the parrot out safely, the firefighters took care of it and provided necessary assistance. When did the earthquake occur in Venezuela?
Two powerful earthquakes (magnitude 7.2 and 7.5) that occurred in Venezuela on June 24, 2026, caused massive devastation in many parts of the country, especially the capital Caracas and La Guaira region.
