Delhi Police has taken major action regarding the demonstration of Cockroach Janata Party. 480 social media handles operating from Pakistan were identified and blocked. These handles were spreading fake news and propaganda in a coordinated manner. Delhi Police appeals that students and youth should be cautious of such foreign social media accounts. Police said, ‘Do not believe in rumors and misinformation, take information only from official sources. Do not share any suspicious or inflammatory post without verification.
Internet service closed at Jantar Mantar
On July 23, the Union Home Ministry suspended mobile internet services within a radius of 1.5 km of Jantar Mantar till 12 midnight. In this new order, under the provisions of the Telecommunication Act, 2023 and Telecommunication (Temporary Suspension of Services) Rules, 2024, with the approval of the Union Home Secretary, the period of suspension of mobile internet services was extended till midnight of Thursday. The order said that this step has been taken to ensure public safety and avert any public emergency. The ministry has issued five such orders to suspend mobile internet services in this area since July 17.
Decision to set up fast track court
Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), reiterating its demand for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, on Thursday (23 July 2026) said that there is no mention of the issue of accountability in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement regarding action in paper leak cases. Amidst the continuous protests by the youth regarding NEET paper leak, PM Modi said that the government has decided to set up fast track courts to give strict punishment to the people involved in paper leak cases as soon as possible.

CJP’s reaction regarding fast track court
CJP’s Ashutosh Ranka welcomed the Prime Minister’s response, but said it came after almost one and a half month of protests and did not answer the main question behind the repeated question paper leaks. Ranka said, ‘It is good that after one and a half months of protests, the Prime Minister has finally paid attention to this. Perhaps his foreign tours are over and he has returned to India, which is a good thing.
