Former Indian captain Kapil Dev has finally broken his silence on the old controversial statements of Yograj Singh. He clearly said that he has no resentment towards Yograj. However, he likes to stay away from such people who live their life with bitterness in their mind. Kapil Dev and Yograj Singh started their cricket career almost together. Both of them took training from coach Desh Prem Azad and also represented India. However, while Kapil Dev created history by winning the World Cup for India in 1983 and made his mark among the great all-rounders of the world, Yograj Singh’s international career could not last long.
Yograj has already made serious allegations
Yograj Singh has made serious allegations against Kapil Dev in many interviews. He said that after becoming the captain, Kapil Dev dropped him from the team without any reason. He had even claimed that he had angrily reached Kapil Dev’s house with a pistol and had blamed him for this. Later, during an interview, Yuvraj Singh had also apologized to Kapil Dev on behalf of his father.
Kapil said- There is still friendship from my side.
Recently, in the podcast of Sports Tak, Kapil Dev gave his reaction on this entire controversy for the first time. He said, ‘He did not need to do this. Such things happen many times in life. He played cricket for the country and gave recognition to this game with his performance. People still like him for the same reason.
When Kapil Dev was asked that Yograj Singh had said that if you come as a friend, he will hug you, he said, ‘I don’t know what he wants to say. There is still friendship from my side. But I don’t like to meet people who have bitterness in life. I like people who are always happy. A lot happens in life, but it is important to move forward. If someone has bitterness in his mind, people will not like him.
The biggest thing is to be happy
Kapil Dev said that not every person gets everything in life. Sometimes success comes to you and sometimes to your family. He said, ‘The most important thing is that a person should be happy and should not keep bitterness in his mind. If I slap or abuse someone, what will I achieve? Moving forward in life is the best path.

He also made it clear that if Yograj Singh wanted to meet him and hug him, he would have no problem in it. Kapil said, ‘He is my childhood friend. Later our paths parted, but we have spent many good days together. For example, if there is a divorce after marriage, it does not mean that the good moments spent together should be forgotten. I still remember all those memorable days.
