Khalin Joshi Golf: Andhra Open 2026 golf tournament is being played in Visakhapatnam, in which Khalin Joshi scored three under 68 for the second consecutive day. This tournament with a prize money of Rs 1 crore is being played at East Point Golf Club. After the second round, Khalin Joshi took the lead with a total score of six under 136.
Khalin Joshi, 33, who hails from Bengaluru and is a former Asian Tour winner, took a one-shot lead. Day one leader Dhruv Sheoran scored one under 70 and has moved to second place with a total of five under 137. Chikarangappa S, 14-time winner on DP World PGTI. also scored 70 and is in third place with a total score of four under 138.

The conditions had become challenging due to the strong wind, yet Khalin Joshi (68-68) played from tee to green and took the lead. He made four birdies and scored a bogey on the last hole.
After the second day, Khalin Joshi said, “Today was a very strong day. I played well from tee to green. It was windy, but overall I am satisfied with my ball striking and now looking forward to the weekend. The biggest challenge was dealing with the changing wind, which I handled well.”
The par-5 seventh hole has been converted to a par-4 of 477 yards, reducing the course’s par to 71. Dhruv Sheoran (67-70) had strengthened his lead by hitting an eagle in the beginning and taking a three-shot lead till 12 holes, but due to consecutive bogeys on the 16th and 17th holes, he slipped to second place.
Viraj Madappa, Sri Lanka’s N. Thangaraja, Chandigarh’s Brushwarpal Singh, Akshay Sharma and Manjot Singh, and Dubai resident Indian Yash Majmudar, these six players are tied at fourth position with a score of two under 140. The cut was at six over 148, with 52 out of 130 players qualifying for the final two rounds.
