LPG Booking Digital System: The government has given information regarding the booking process of LPG cylinder. According to the government, the booking process has now become digital to a great extent. About 98 percent refill booking is being done online or through digital medium. Due to which people are getting ease and the system has become faster and transparent.

Big change in LPG supply and digital system
- Officials said that oil companies are still keeping the need for housing on top. According to statistics, more than 50 lakh domestic LPG cylinders are being supplied every day. Despite the reduction in supply due to the ongoing tension in the Middle East, efforts are being made to maintain the supply of domestic gas.
- LPG booking has now become mostly digital. Earlier this figure was around 71 percent. It was 80 percent in March and has now increased to almost 98 percent. That means most people are now booking through app, call or SMS only.
Supply is being done through delivery authentication code.
The DAC used in delivery has also increased significantly. Talking about the figures, earlier it was 53%, it increased to 72% in March and now it has reached around 94%. This code comes on the customer’s mobile and delivery is done through it. DAC system is used to prevent fraud in gas cylinder supply.
Direct impact of LPG prices
Changes in LPG prices directly impact the household budget, because this is the main gas for cooking in most of the houses in India. When prices increase, monthly expenses also increase.
