Amid the energy crisis across the world due to the US-Iran conflict, a relief news has emerged for India. An agreement has been signed between the two countries regarding LPG supply. It is believed that this can provide great relief to India. On Friday (May 15), Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the first leg of his five-nation tour. Guard of honor was given to PM Modi at the airport here.
In the presence of Prime Minister Modi and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, both the countries exchanged the MoU, in which an agreement has also been made regarding strategic petroleum reserves.

The patience and courage you have shown in these difficult circumstances is highly commendable. We congratulate the steps taken under your leadership in maintaining national unity, security and territorial integrity.

He said that the impact of the war situation in the West Asia region is visible on the entire world today. India has always given priority to dialogue and diplomacy to resolve issues. India stands shoulder to shoulder with UAE in every situation and will continue to do so in future also.
