The name of the film itself is such that you are shocked, and the casting of the film is such that you are even more shocked. The film Maa Behen has come on Netflix, no this is not abuse, but the story of a mother and her two daughters. And the film stars Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit, Trupti Dimri and content creator Dharana. Isn’t it a shocking casting, the trailer of the film had raised the expectations quite a lot, rather it can be said again with emphasis that it had raised too much, this film also fulfills those expectations but by how much, you will understand if you read this complete review.
Story
This is the story of a mother Rekha i.e. Madhuri Dixit and two daughters Trupti and Dharana i.e. Jaya and Sushma, i.e. Rekha, Jaya and Sushma, all three of them keep doing some scandal or the other. He has a wonderful image in the locality, hence a big scandal occurs. One Gupta ji i.e. Ravi Kishan gets murdered in their house, what happens next, you will have to watch it on Netflix.
how is the movie
This film is very good from OTT point of view. You can comfortably Netflix and chill at home. You are getting good content which you will be entertained by watching, this film is pure entertainment, do not expect any kind of message from it, yes if you want to take a message then you can take it but it is up to your understanding. The makers have only served entertainment, the film comes to the point right from the beginning, there are good comic scenes, Madhuri’s style makes you crazy. Every character looks amazing in itself. You laugh, and you enjoy, the film becomes a little light in between but still its characters keep you engaged and you watch and enjoy the film till the end and want to know its mystery. Here, the acting and actions of these characters are more entertaining than the mystery. The trailer of this film was so good that the expectations had reached the sky. The film is a little less good than the trailer, you can say that the trailer was great and the film is quite good but according to OTT, it will be called a good time pass entertainer which people will like very much.
acting
Madhuri Dixit has done wonders, she is seen in a different style, her beauty will surprise you, make you crazy and her style will win your heart. Madhuri is the life of this film, but the specialty of this film is that despite the presence of Madhuri, the other characters are effective. Trupti Dimri has done an amazing job. Here she does not add any touch of glamour. She also teaches a lesson to her ill-mannered husband and also cooks delicious khichdi with her mother. Trupti has once again proved that she can do performance roles very well. Dharana broke the notion that content creators cannot act. Of course he can, and he is amazing here, he fits this character in such a way that you can’t imagine anyone else other than him. Ravi Kishan does wonders, he has done it here too. Gitanjali Kulkarni has also done a very good job. His Gullak Season 5 is also coming. Arunoday Singh is great.
writing and direction
Pooja Tolani’s writing is good, although if the writing was a little sharper, it would have made a better film, where the film becomes light in between, more work could have been done on the writing. Suresh Triveni’s direction is excellent, he has made amazing content from Meri Sulu to Daldal and here he has brought something with a different treatment. He used the characters brilliantly. In Madhuri’s stardom, the story was not forgotten and this is the sign of a good maker.
Overall, it’s a fun movie, definitely watch it.
