Demand for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is continuously rising regarding the NEET paper leak issue. On this issue, a large scale protest is being organized by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). The party and the protesting students allege that responsibility should be fixed for the irregularities in the examination process and the Education Minister should step down.

On July 20, the protesters took out a march from Jantar Mantar to Parliament with this demand. During the march there was a situation of tension between the security forces and the protesters. There was lathi charge on the students. Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra has targeted Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. He took a jibe while posting a post on social media platform X. Mahua Moitra wrote, “Maybe the Education Minister does not know how to write resignation, RSS only teaches how to write mercy petition.”

Central government targeted over NEET paper leak issue

Opposition parties are continuously raising questions on the Central Government and the Education Ministry regarding the NEET paper leak issue, while the government is talking about investigation and action in the matter. There was uproar in the monsoon session of Parliament also over the NEET paper leak controversy. The opposition is preparing to corner the government on this issue and is demanding accountability for the interests of the students.
